This wind turbine does not have a rotating shaft. Only the blades rotate around the shaft. The power generation unit is also attached to the shaft and generates electricity in response to the rotation of the blades. Since the shaft is simply secured to the frame at the top and bottom, there is no need to consider the alignment of the rotating shaft. If the frame is sturdy, it can withstand strong winds. There is a proven record of withstanding wind speeds of up to 30 m/s in field tests.
